As the CDIP Administrative Director at Cooper University Health Care, you will provide system-wide oversight of the Clinical Documentation Improvement Program for inpatient and professional billing. You will shape strategy with Compliance, Finance, Quality and Health Information Management, and lead education at the system level, including CDI software transitions and outcomes reporting. You will Chair the Corporate Steering Committee and participate in Task Force meetings to ensure CDI program effectiveness. This role combines strategic planning, operations, and cross-functional collaboration to improve documentation accuracy and billing integrity.

Responsibilities
- Provide system-wide administrative and operational oversight of the CDIP for inpatient and professional billing
- Lead strategy and operations for the CDIP in collaboration with Compliance, Finance, Quality, and HIM
- Deliver system-level education and support, including onsite training and CDI software transitions
- Assist with collection and compilation of outcomes data reflecting CDI software impact
- Chair the Corporate Steering Committee (administration) and participate in CDI Task Force meetings for program governance
Key requirements
- 3-5 years experience
- Bachelor's degree
- BSN
- CCDS or CDIP
- CCS
