Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close procedures for timely, accurate financial tasks
- Oversee general ledger operations ensuring consistency across accounts
- Conduct account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare and review journal entries with proper documentation
- Supervise subledger accounting activities to align with standards
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and provide financial health insights
- Collaborate with auditors during financial statement audits
- Support merger integration by harmonizing accounting procedures and systems
Key requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Proven experience in general ledger accounting and financial statement preparation
- Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and account reconciliations
- Proficiency in journal entry creation and subledger accounting
- Familiarity with balance sheet reconciliations and auditing practices
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to adapt to new systems and processes during merger integrations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-team collaboration
