Senior Specialist / Project Manager
Experteer Overview
In this Accountant role, you’ll own financial data translation into actionable insights within a high-growth audio media company. You’ll partner with the Accounting Team and Finance to drive close processes, variances analysis, and balance sheet integrity. You’ll influence decision-making with P&L ownership and proactive issue resolution. This position offers ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and opportunities to impact financial storytelling at scale.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Accounting and Finance to transform financial data into actionable insights
- Own P&L for assigned lines of business, analyze variances, and identify improvement opportunities
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations, issue resolution, and executive summaries
- Link transactions to P&L and balance sheet impacts and communicate findings
- Provide internal and external audit support with complete documentation
- Assist in preparing footnote disclosures and supporting schedules for Corporate Accounting
- Participate in special projects and cross-functional teams
- Prepare ad hoc reporting and develop expertise in iHM’s accounting systems
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 3-5 years of accrual-based accounting experience
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivots, v-lookup)
- Experience with financial systems (COGNOS, NetSuite, PeopleSoft)
- Strong written and oral communication across organizational levels
