As an Account Executive for the SMB segment, you hunt for new small-business customers (1–9 employees) and drive revenue by tailoring wireless solutions. You’ll work in a team-oriented environment to meet monthly quotas, build relationships, and apply solution-based selling in underserved markets. The role blends prospecting, negotiations, and consultative selling to demonstrate value and close deals. Responsibilities
- Lead generation across developed and underdeveloped territories via prospecting, cold calling, and networking
- Assess customer needs and present T-Mobile wireless solutions (plans, data, devices, accessories)
- Negotiate and close sales deals
- Develop skills in prospecting, call execution, and relationship management; participate in product training and meetings
- Create effective sales approaches, solutions, and proposals
- Utilize Salesforce-like sales automation, manage the sales funnel, and forecast/report activities
Key requirements
- 1+ years verifiable new customer acquisition sales experience, preferably in a commissioned environment
- Outside B2B sales experience
- High School Diploma/GED (Required)
- Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
- Task Management: multi-tasking in a dynamic environment
- Customer Service: strong attention to detail and service
- Communication: excellent interpersonal, written, and oral skills
- Negotiation: effective closing skills, emotional intelligence, problem-solving
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Travel: Yes
