In this Account Director role, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, leveraging Forrester’s research to drive value and growth within Fortune-class accounts. You’ll orchestrate account penetration strategies, uncover business initiatives, and advocate for solutions that help clients win, grow, and retain customers. You’ll work closely with executives and analysts to translate insights into prescriptive outcomes, contributing to personal and company growth. This is a relationship-driven, impact-focused role in a fast-paced, consultative sales environment.

Responsibilities

Partner with senior management (director, C-level) to provide business advisory support leveraging research on emerging technologies and customer experience
Collaborate with industry analysts and ecosystem to sell and deliver prescriptive client solutions
Maintain weekly/daily metrics and ensure quota achievement
Produce accurate forecasts
Uncover key business initiatives and engage cross-functional buying centers
Develop sales opportunities to expand contract value and retain customers
Maintain and build relationships with executive contacts to understand needs and identify opportunities
Develop understanding of the company’s products/services to align solutions with client needs

Key requirements

Bachelor’s degree preferred
At least eight years of relevant/consultative sales experience
Experience selling to C-level professionals in a competitive market is advantageous
Willingness to make cold calls and book meetings
Proven track record in new-business development, quota attainment, and managing sales strategies
Strong presentation, organization, and time management skills
Fast learner comfortable with technology
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with Utilities, Energy and Oil & Gas industry
