    Christian started out in the Internet at the very early stages of the industry. He held various leadership roles at global players like Microsoft, Bertelsmann, AOL, and CompuServe, when they were at the forefront of the competition. He managed corporate headquarters positions as well as several field operations – but ultimately wanted create his own business. He founded Experteer with the Mission to be the No 1 source for high-end positions trusted by candidates & recruiters.

    Today Experteer is Europe’s premium career & recruitment network with more than 5 million professionals and executives, who use Experteer as their trusted source to the high end job market. Senior-level candidates can access more than thousands positions with salaries benchmarked at 60,000 € or higher, and confidentially network with thousands of recruiters across Europe. Experteer has a highly international team, with employees from more than 30 countries. The company is headquartered in Munich, Germany

    Christian studied in Munich, Berkeley, and St.Gal. He holds a masters in business with distinction and completed a Ph.D. on ‘Business Strategy in the Online Industry’ during the heydays of the Internet.

    Eric Archambeau is currently a General Partner at Wellington Partners, a pan-European venture capital firm with offices in London, Munich, Palo Alto and Zurich, with €800M under management and a focus on early stage investments in European technology companies with global ambitions: recent such investments include Adconion, Hailo, Readmill, Spotify and Xing. Before becoming a venture capitalist, Eric was a repeat entrepreneur in Silicon Valley where he spent 20 years and co-founded several successful companies such as RightPoint Software, Trading Dynamics and eGroups.

    Lars has been at Holtzbrinck Ventures since its foundation in 2000. For more than two years, he was the CEO of Parship and responsible for setting up the company’s operations until the subsequent exit. He also initiated the foundation of Experteer, Europe’s leading website for premium jobs, and supported Audible.de, Germany’s most successful platform for spoken audio content, until its successful sale to Amazon.Prior to his time at Holtzbrinck Ventures, Lars was a research fellow in Organization Theory at Saarbrücken University, where he conducted several studies in the area of increasing digitalization. Lars completed his degree in Business Administration at Saarbrücken University in record time and holds a doctorate in Economics, graduating “magna cum laude”.

    Christian joined the firm in the San Francisco office in March 2003. He has since moved back to Europe where is working out of the Hamburg and Berlin offices, leading European Internet Consumer investments. He holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and previously worked with management consulting firms in Paris and Berlin. Christian also held various research positions at the Daimler Chrysler Research Center India in Bangalore and the Coordinated Science Laboratory at the University of Illinois. Christian is frequently quoted in the media as an expert on Venture Capital by key publications such as Spiegel Online and FAZ.

    Jo (born 1962) has over 25 years of experience in sales and marketing (FMCG: Unilever, Campbellís, CPC), founded StepStone Belgium and for more than 8 years he was part of the Group Executive Board at StepStone (listed company) as COO in order to implement the company’s turnaround.

    Later on as VP Corporate and Business Development- he was responsible for an M&A program investing over €100.000.000 in the acquisition of 10 different companies throughout Europe. Since mid-2009, Jo became an independent consultant for Private Equity companies, (international) online media companies and Bricks & Mortar companies. Jo is also founder and CEO of Solar8 Energy AG; a company that finances, builds and exploits solar energy parks in Southern Italy. Solar8 Energy collected over € 10.000.000 in Germany through Public Bond Issues.
