Lead Executive Group Life Benefit sales results in 30 – 1,000 plus life space through all distribution channels. Distribution channels include proprietary MassMutual agents, national firms, independent advisors, consultants and enrollment firms.


  • • Cultivate and build strong relationships with intermediaries to generate prospect opportunities
  • • Aggressively develop new distribution channels and intermediaries within these channels, while striving to maintain existing relationships
  • • Develop intermediary interest in our Executive Group Life & GUL & GVUL Product
  • • Maintain industry knowledge necessary to be a product expert on GUL & GVUL products
  • • Execute on marketing plans both locally developed as well as those initiated


  • College
  • 5+ years related sales experience
  • Insurance License
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
  • As a condition of employment, MassMutual requires that you abide by certain post-employment non-solicitation provisions; specifically, that for one year following termination you will not solicit current employees or customers for a subsequent employer
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of Employee Benefit products and markets
  • Pre-existing relationships in Employee Benefits distribution market
  • Highly motivated self-starter
  • Excellent presentation/public speaking skills
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • FINRA 6/7 & 63 licenses required or will need to obtain at a determined timeframe from hire date
