Duties


Summary

This position is located in the Defense Security Service (DSS), Defense Vetting Directorate (DVD), Enterprise Business Support Office (EBSO), Department of Defense (DoD).

Responsibilities

As an OPERATIONS RESEARCH ANALYST you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Conducting security surveys and studies to collect, classify, and evaluate qualitative and quantitative facts which support new business practices, resources allocations, budget requests, new automation and security policy initiatives, and all strategic business decisions impacting the personnel security investigation needs and costs.
  • Advising functional mission areas within the directorate using risk-based principles to support U.S. national security interests.
  • Advising and formulating methods that support technical and non-technical solutions on ways and means of achieving directorate, the DSS, and Executive Branch goals and objectives.
