Position:     Dynamics 365 Financials Analyst
Location:     Harrisburg, PA
Compensation: $80,000 - $140,000 + Excellent Benefits + Paid Relocation

Job Description:

The D365 Financial Solution architect will be part of a brand-new implementation of Dynamics 365.

To qualify, you must have experience and knowledge supporting Dynamics AX and-or D365 financial modules; a solid understanding of Accounting and Finance processes; and extensive functional knowledge of the finance and accounting modules.

Responsibilities:

The Dynamics 365 Financial Solutions Architect is responsible for D365 implementation, configuration, upgrade, extension of existing D365 functionality, and on-going support for the Finance business unit. 

The Solutions Architect is responsible for hands-on configuration of D365 Financial modules as well as assisting the Finance team with solutions.
The individual will also help with business case development and performance measurement. 
He/she will provide functional knowledge of the D365 system and manage end-user relationships with the ERP system and technical team.
The Finance SA will also provide oversight and manage all of the company’s Commercial Off-The-Shelf Software (COTS) related to the finance business unit. You will provide support for vendor relationships, licensing, contracts, budgets, and invoice processing.
Configure and implement D365 solutions with a primary focus on modules related to Finance. This includes AP, AR, G/L, Cost Accounting, and EPM Reporting.
Provide end user support through knowledge of business processes and functional D365 solutions.
Plan, Analyze, Implement, Manage and Maintain D365 Applications.
Assist in the management of external partners (technical implementation, training and support) in relation to D365 integration and third-party Platform As A Service (PAAS).
Document, update and maintain Finance Business Processes in a SharePoint Repository.
Train users on D365 and related business processes.
Contribute to test plans, ensure functional and non-functional requirements are articulated in a consistent fashion.
Assist the Functional Analysts, Business Analysts and Developers in the successful translation of requirements into a workable solution for all functional specifications with the D365 system.
Develop relationships with COTS vendor/partner for Finance-related software.
Provide guidance to the Finance business unit with vendor selection of COTS software and the development of annual COTS budgets and execution of those budgets.
Provide leadership with the selection of new COTS SW utilizing established vendor selection process.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009/2012 and-or D365 financial modules.

In-depth understanding of Accounting and Finance processes and their relationship to other business processes and systems.
Extensive functional knowledge of Dynamics AX2012 and-or D365 with specific experience in the finance and accounting modules.
Experience in interpreting business and user requirements and providing IT solutions.
Experience with vendor relationships and vendor selection process.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a “Customer Focus” mentality.
The ability to learn business processes and new technologies quickly.
Experience conducting business requirement gathering sessions.
Ability to analyze the dependencies of the current business processes with other business and project areas.
Knowledge of industry best practices and current trends.
Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
